I have decided to study to become an advisor in sports nutrition, I already have quite a lot of nutritional knowledge from my degree and interests, however I want to build on this knowledge and be able to provide people with dietary advice too. I don’t have much free time at the moment, although I think I can just about fit in studying when I have a spare moment.  I will also be able to use this knowledge to help with my own diet and training too.

I think a lot of people don’t realise in order to reach their full sporting potential its not just about the training itself! Half the battle is focusing on nutrition. If you take for example an Olympic sprinter they typically have a pretty amazing physique and obviously they work incredibly hard during training. Equally they don’t achieve their shape through eating a load of rubbish! They use food as fuel and to refuel after training sessions to achieve peak performance.

Focusing on sports nutrition is also quite different than focusing on general nutrition. This is because athletes or sportsman have different dietary requirements depending on their sporting needs and goals.

As I study, I will try and share important sports nutritional facts with you so follow along with my blog posts, and achieve your goals.

If you need any nutritional plans/ advice when I have finished my course, don’t hesitate to get in touch!

I look forward to hearing from you 🙂
