I now have just over 6 weeks until I compete in my 2nd fitness model comp, it doesn’t seem real that I can live this absolutely incredible life, travelling round the world, staying in beautiful locations, being able to work, pursuing my passion and of course be able to prepare myself for a fitness model competition at the same time.

If I think back to when I first set off on my adventures September 2018, I had no idea of what I wanted to do and where I would be. I didn’t have a plan at all.

My trip has been lead by my intuition. As cliché as it sounds, I have listened to my heart and followed my vision. I can confidently say, that now I know as long as I keep on the right path, I will get there. No challenge is to great!  its part of the process.

I have built life long connections in Asia(friends, business partners, inspiring people). To have a community of people that I am connected with from all around the world, blows my mind and I feel very grateful to have this. It has definitely been one of the greatest things about travelling.

Yes, of course as with anything there have bee many times I have questioned the decisions I have made. Moments where I have missed my friends and family back at home. But the adventure element of travelling, entrepreneurship and unpredictability has fulfilled me greatly.

Anyway, back to comp prep!

How is prep going living in Bali?

Actually its pretty good, I feel like I am on a constant high, (just, I guess from bali living, it really is a magical place)  last prep I was struggling with mindset throughout the 8 weeks, this time mindset has been the least of my worries. I feel amazing!

My shoulders are growing, my glutes are growing, progress is going in the right direction. Prep food in bali  is yummy, and there is a great cafe that does a lot of meal prep style food (I end up eating there quite a lot).

There is a big fitness scene where I am staying (making everything a lot easier). And with my main priorities training and work (helping my amazing coaching clients and growing my business), I  think its good to have the structure of prep for a while.

One of my favourite quotes is from Arnold Schwarzenegger, he said ‘The worst thing I can be is the same as everybody else. I hate that.’ I completely agree with this powerful quote. There is nothing worse then trying to be like everyone else because it’s the norm. Can you reach your dream of becoming a world champion at running if your follow what 99% of the population are doing ? No. To reach your dream, you need to be different, you need to make sacrifices, you need to set yourself apart. Life’s too short to waste time following the crowd.

Anything is possible if you want it enough.
