I can’t quite believe that 6 weeks have passed already. I’ve just finished my PT course, so am now super excited to start training my first clients! I’ve been extremely lucky to have met such an amazing group of fellow Personal Trainers during the course and will definitely be staying in touch with them all in the future!

Although it’s been quite a lot of work especially with fitting in my own training twice a day, it’s also been a lot of fun, and again I have to say that’s down to my amazing course mates, I don’t think I’ve laughed so much in my life!

I feel like now, I am definitely ready and really looking forward to the challenge of helping you guys meet your health and fitness goals: motivating, encouraging, and working with you to achieve results.

I have to say, it was only a couple of months ago that I graduated from Reading Uni, pretty much moved to straight to Newbury and started my first proper job (and I have to admit it was a pretty awesome graduate job as a food product developer).

… At this point, I guess my life was pretty much on track, but for me, something was definitely missing.

One of my housemates in Newbury was a personal trainer and to be honest with you, I was envious of them!

So decision time … I left the job, decided to move out of Newbury and into Oxford (I love Oxford as many of you will know!) without a job.  Fast-forward 3 months, I have completed Premier Level 3 REPS Personal training course and am setting up my own Personal Training business!

Anyway, the message I want to get across is that things don’t just happen like that, you have to make things happen and this involves making big decisions and taking your life into your own hands.

Michael Jordan said, “Some people want it to happen, some wish it would happen, others make it happen.”

Don’t just sit there and let opportunities pass you by; if you want something enough, there is no barrier that will stop you achieving it, other than the barriers you create yourself. After all, life is too short to live in regret.
